In a small rural area located north of Houston, Texas, there was a town called Forks, Texas, population only three hundred twenty-five, a famous love story would be created and told for many generations. There were doctors, lawyers, bankers, and of course ranchers living in this one horse town. One summer evening a local, who left five years earlier to further his lifelong dream of becoming a professional bull rider returned to town, searching for a bride. When young Jamie Ratcliffe came galloping into town on his most prize possession, a young buckskin Quarter Horse named Blazer, all the young single cowgirls were falling head over heels for the young, blond hair, blue eyed cowboy. Jamie never showed any interest to the other girls in town once he laid eyes on the town’s richest rancher’s daughter, Abigail Sinclair. She was young with curly blond hair and sky blue eyes, she was the town’s prettiest girl, but Abigail wasn’t like the rest of the girls. Abigail found enjoyment after a long day with working with the horses and completing all the household chores, curled up in her bedroom, reading a romance novel. She never really showed much interest in the cowboys, but soon there will be one that she will absolutely fall in love with. Jamie figured the only way to get Abigail to notice him was to find a way to be around her every day. So he went and visited with her father, Mr. Sinclair asking him if he needed any extra help out on the ranch. He father said he did and Jamie started that day. As the weeks passed, Jamie tried almost anything to be close to Abigail. Soon they began talking to one another and going out for a night on the town. Before they realized it they were spending all their spare time together. They were falling in love. Everyone was happy that the young couple was falling for each other except one local cowgirl, Hailey Sherwood. Hailey wanted to be with Jamie and she tried almost anything to break them up. One day, Jamie and Abigail confronted Hailey and told her to leave them alone. Around that time, Hailey already spotted a young bachelor named Chip Kingridge and fell madly in love with him and left town to marry Chip. Now two years later, Jamie and Abigail are planning a fall wedding in mid-October on the Sinclair ranch and by early spring they will be expecting their first child, a baby boy. As for Hailey, she and Chip are still married and will be expecting their fourth child by next summer. And they all lived happily ever after.
