Some people swore that the house was haunted, but to us it was cursed. On the outskirts of this spooky one horse town known as Lynndendale, Wisconsin stood a rugged old farmhouse. Built in the early 1930's by a family with many, many dark secrets. All the town's people did not dare drive pass the old spooky house. Many, if not all the people would drive the two hours out of route just to bypass the old house. I guess your wondering what it was about the house that made it spooky, so let's take a stoll down memory lane.
In the early 1930's, a family of seven known as the Slytherin's came to town. They purchased a hundered acre lot, where they built their two story farmhouse. As the weeks and months passed things mysteriously started happening. One day a frightened and panicked town's man named Joseph came peddling into town. As he stopped in front of the general country store where all the town's people hung around in the evenings, the town's people just stared at him, wondering what had him so frightened. Gasping for air Joseph finally spoke of what he just saw.
"As I was riding my bike down the road, and as I passed the Slytherin's place I seen that they were out in the front yard standing around a big kettle that was being heated by a small fire. As I strolled on passed I seen that they were putting something into the kettle. I blinked to get a clear image and they were putting small bottles full of some sort of liquid into the kettle. With every bottle they put in, the kettle would burst out a flame and a puff of smoke, as they were saying what sounded like a spell. Then they looked at me and each of them had an evil look on their faces."
After taking a deep breath Joseph finally shouted,'
"They're witches!"
The town's people gasped. Could it be true what they just heard? They all decided to grab their torches and pitch forks and march to the Slytherin's house. When they arrived there the family stood, just like Joseph said they were. The entire town's people tied the Slytherin's up with a rope, waiting to hang such horrible people. Before the rope was released to hang them, the Slytherin's cursed whoever came onto their property, then they were hung. Nothing was ever the same after that.
