June

June beginning of summer
crisp clear cool nights
set ablaze by fire works
Pop! Crack! explosions in the sky
when friends gather around the unexpected happens
like a lawn mower set on fire
then the big daddy was set off going
past trees and telephone wires
to dissipate in the sky only
to reaper lighting up the night
yes lots of things to do in the month of June
we'll meet here next year to make new memories
so we wont be stuck talking about the past
